women's size 7-9 slippers
6 oz. Red Heart worsted weight acrylic yarn

Make 2
Chain 34, turn.
Rows 2-33:. sc 33, chain 1, turn.
Row 34: . fold fabric vertically and sc side shut from sides to fold, trim to 6 inches an cut.
Row 35: sc other side shut going from fold to sides, chain 3, *dc, chain 1* around entire top, trim to 6 inches and cut. Hide ends.
Make 2 ties of chain 60 with 3 inch trims or use 2 18-inch long pieces of ribbon to lace up slippers.

2006 December Stitch of the Month Crochet

Based on a multiple of 4 chain.

Row 1: 1 sc in 4th ch from hook, * (ch 2, 1 dc) twice in same ch, skip 3 ch1,
 1 sc in next ch, repeat from * across, end skip 2 ch, 1 dc in last ch, ch 4, turn.

Row 2: In 2nd ch-2 sp of each group work 1 Sc, (ch 2, 1 dc) twice, end 1 dc
in top of turning-ch, ch 4, turn.
Repeat Row 2 for pattern.

Row 10: Rep. from row 2.

Note: On 6th and 10th rows k 1 B of previous row is worked k 1 B, the single k 1, as k 1, again.

K1B =  insert needle into the stitch below the next stitch to be knitted and knit

Reclaiming the Crown. Royal Heist is from the Protecting the Crown series, and its packed with action, suspense, great interesting characters, and a wonderful plot that keeps you guessing, I gave it 5 stars.
