This is a place for my knitting, sewing, crochet designs and projects. I have been knitting since I was 4, and crocheting since age 19 and I have starting weaving again, along with sewing. So this is where I will be posting those patterns too.

September 2010 Stitch of the Month Knit
September 2010 Stitch of the Month Knit
Cast on a multiple of 4 + 2 stitches
For sample, on size 8 needles cast on 18 stitches.
1st and 3rd rows: Purl
2nd row: K1, *(K1, P1, K1) into the next st, P3 tog, repeat from * to last st, k1
4th row: K1, *P3 tog, (K1, P1, K1) into the next st, repeat from * to last stitch, k1
Repeat rows 1 - 4 for pattern until square or desired length. You can crochet an edging around it for a coaster or make several of the square, and sew together for a hot mat then crochet a nice edging around it. You could even try a baby blanket by casting on more stitches, say 122 stitches (30 x 4 = 120 + 2) and knitting until square, bind off, and crochet an edging around it.
