 December 2019 Stitch of the Month Crochet

 

 

Chain a Multiple of 4 plus 4.

For sample chain 24 ( 4 x 5 = 20 + 4 = 24 )

Set up row:    4 dc in 6th ch from hook  *4 dc in the 4th ch, rep from * ending row with 3 dc in the last ch, ch 1, turn.

Row 1:    1 sc in the 1st dc and all dc across row, 1 sc in top of turning ch, ch 3 turn

Row 2:    2 dc in the 2nd sc, skip 3 sc,* 4 dc in the next sc, rep from * end, 1 dc in top of turning ch, ch 1, turn.

Row 3:  1 sc in each dc across, end 1 sc in top of turning ch, ch 3 turn

Row 4:   4 dc in 4th sc,  *skip 3 sc, 4 dc in next sc, repeat from * across row, end 3 dc in top of turning ch, ch 1, turn.

Repeat Row 1-4 for pattern for desired length. End with row 1. Fasten off.
