August 2012 Stitch of the Month Crochet

 Multiples of 10 chain plus 1.

For sample chain 21

Row 1: Starting in 2nd ch from hook, * 1 sc in each of next 5 ch, l dc in each of next 5 ch, repeat

from * across, ch 1, turn.

Row 2: 1 sc in each dc & 1 dc in each sc across, ch 1, turn.

Repeat Row 2 until square.  

Note: These are another good one for coasters.
