Finally finish it the Light House Ski hat update 9-22-25

Light House Ski Hat  Finally finish it  update 9-22-25

I finally finished the hat, lots of changes to it and it does not look like a woman dancing any more, I hated that, but the hat was fun to do and it will be Christmas for two people on my gift list. Below is the picture of the finished hat. I started out with an idea of a light house hat, draw it on a chart, and then added details and wrote out the pattern.  You can read how the process went below it. Below on the left is the finished hat

March 2025

I decided to make another ski hat, I'm going to use eyelash yarns, a fluffy white yarn, and regular colors to make it. I'm going to put a lighthouse in it on a brown and green grassy hill with birds and clouds in the sky.  Below is a picture of the start of this, I have all the yarns and the needles, I needed to work out the pattern details and write it out because I drew it on paper first, the colors are brighter in the picture. I will up date you as I go.

April 2025

I've started on my hat following the pattern and chart that I finished.  I've worked the grass, the hill and part of the lighthouse with some birds and clouds in it I still have a lot to go and there are a lot of thread ends I have to weave in when done, but it's starting to take shape.

Here I have worked of my pattern, but I am starting to not like the way it’s turning out, I think it has just too much in it.  To me it looks like an old woman dancing. Lol.

Below is the finished hat but I really don’t like it.

And it still looks like an old woman dancing, I can see the birds and clouds, but I still don’t like it so I have started another one with a lot of changes to my pattern.
