Lounger to wear with a yolk, trim and piping, all colors coordinated using Jo-Ann's fabrics. Seam binding was made using the same material as the yoke, and the piping I made using a dark purple material. Floor length. Cool to wear. Sleeves are mid length.
This is a place for my knitting, sewing, crochet designs and projects. I have been knitting since I was 4, and crocheting since age 19 and I have starting weaving again, along with sewing. So this is where I will be posting those patterns too.

Crazy coasters
Crazy coasters
I didn't use a pattern with these coasters, I purchased a templet set off Amazon, cut a backing out of material to match the binding I had made. Cut a lining piece using an old blanket I keep just for doing this. The front is made using fabric scraps from other things I have made. All material from JoaAnns. The four coasters are about 9 inches square.
I plan on making more of these as I love using the fancy stitches on my sewing machine and I can make them in any colors or to go with the seasons or holidays.

Napkins
Napkins
I needed more napkins and found a cute pattern off the internet ( link below). I made them for the seasons like Valentines for February and St Patricks for March, etc. I like flowers so for some months I just used flower patterns with a solid backing to match
Coordinating fabrics from Jo-Ann and the pattern idea was from the internet

Popcorn can cover

This is a foot strool I made, no pattern just measured the popcorn can and made it to fit. First the top, and I made two covers for it, one for the can, then one for the bottom of the pillow, and then the top of the pillow. Made the piping out of the same material I used for the can base, turned out pretty I think.Thursday, July 16, 2009
Sewing for my kitchen
I have been sewing for my kitchen, made new curtains for both the door and window, apron, and plastic bag holder to match them. Didn't have a pattern, the darn things cost way to much, so I just take measurements and then made them. The apron and plastic bag holder are in older posts so you can get the pattern links for these free.
