
Row 2: Skip 2 sc, * 1 dc in each of next 3 sc, pass hook in front of last 3 dc, yo, and insert in skipped sc before dc group, draw up a loop and complete the single crochet, skip 1 sc, repeat from * across, end 1 dc in last sc, ch 1, turn.
Rows3: 1 Sc in each St across, end 1 sc in top of ch 3. Ch 3, turn.
Repeat row's 2 and 3
Looking at the pictures, start at the bottom and work up, lol,

Thanks for the lovely baby afghan. Directions for the stitch seem pretty much straight forward; however, I must say the color of the swatch showing how the stitch was made in the pictures made it difficult to see properly. Perhaps a darker color or less reflection might photograph better??? Again, thanks for the lovely baby afghan ~~ it is sure to make a lovely and welcoming gift.
Yes I agree that it was difficult to see,but as a begin'er I appreciate the tutorials as they allow me to keep checking if I'm doing o.k. Thanks for this detailed pattern. Trisha
