Materials:
G hook
1 ball cotton yarn

For small chain chain 29, for a large dishcloth chain 35.

Row 1: 1 hdc in 2nd ch from hook, and in each chain across row, ch 2, turn.

Row 2: working in back loop, 1 hdc in each hdc across row, 1 hdc in turning ch, ch 3 turn.

Row 3: 1 dc in first hdc, * ch 2, skip 2 hdc, 1 dc in each of next 2 hdc, repeat from * across row, end, skip 2 hdc, 1 dc in next hdc, and 1 dc in top of turning ch, ch 3.

Row 4: 1 dc in first dc, * ch 2, skip 2 ch sp, 1 dc in next 2 dc, repeat from * across row, end 1dc in last dc, and 1 dc in top of turning ch, ch 2, turn.

Row 5: 1 hdc in each dc and 2 hdc in each 2 ch space across row, end 1 hdc in top of turning ch,  ch 2, turn.

Repeat rows 2 to 5 for  4 repeats for large, 3 for small, then work row 2, fasten off, weave in yarn ends.

 Materials:
2 Ball Peaches &Crème Cotton Yarn, any colors
Size 10 Knitting needles for large size
Size 7 Knitting Needles for small size
2 markers
1 row counter

With size 10 needles, cast on 34 stitches. Place markers after the first 3 stiches and before the last 3 stitches.

Row 1 & 3: K1, P1, K1

Row 2: P1, k1, P1                        

Start Pattern:

Row 1: wrong side P1, k1, P1, purl across to next marker, K1, P1, K1.

Row 2:  K1, P1, K1,  * K 6, p 1; repeat from * to next marker, P1, k1, P1.

Row 3: P1, k1, P1, * K 2, p 5; repeat from * to to next marker, K1, P1, K1.

Row 4: K1, P1, K1, * K 4, p 3; repeat from * to next marker, P1, k1, P1.

Row 5: P1, k1, P1,  * K 4, p 3; repeat from * to to next marker, K1, P1, K1.

Row 6: K1, P1, K1, * K 2, p 5; repeat from * to next marker, P1, k1, P1.

Row 7: P1, k1, P1,  * K 6, p 1; repeat from * to to next marker, K1, P1, K1.

Row 8: K1, P1, K1, * K 1, p 6; repeat from * to next marker, P1, k1, P1.

Row 9: P1, k1, P1,  * K 5, p 2; repeat from * to to next marker, K1, P1, K1.

Row 10:  K1, P1, K1, * K 3, p 4; repeat from * to next marker, P1, k1, P1.

Row 11: P1, k1, P1,  * K 3, p 4; repeat from * to next marker, K1, P1, K1.

Row 12: K1, P1, K1, * K 5, p 2; repeat from * to next marker, P1, k1, P1.

Row 13: P1, k1, P1,  * K 1, p 6; repeat from * to next marker, K1, P1, K1.

Row 14: - K1, P1, K1, knit to next marker, P1, k1, P1.

Now:

Rows 1,3, 5: P1, k1, across row.

Rows 2, 4:    K1, P1, across row.

Work rows 2 to 14 once more, then:

Rows 1, 3:   P1, K1 across row

Row 2:         K1, P1 across row

Bind off in pattern (row 1), weave in the ends.

I named this dishcloth after my kid sister because she tested the pattern for me. Thank you sweet sister.

Size 8 knitting needles

Note:  twisted stitch: skip one stitch, knit the next one, then knit the skipped stitch and remove both from left hand needle to the right hand needle.

 

My Ribbing 1         

 (multiple of 3 sts + 1):

For sample cast on 25 ( 3 x 8 = 24 + 1 = 25)


Row 1:  p1, twisted stitch 2, p1, across row, end p1


Row 2: k1, p2, k1 across row, end k 1.


Repeat these 2 rows for pattern.

Knit 6 rows.

Start pattern as follows

Row 1: k4, pm * yo, k 2 tog,* repeat from * across row. pm, k4

Row 2: k3, purl to next marker, k 3

Row 3: Knit

Row 4: knit

Repeat rows 1 to 4 10 times.

Knit 6 rows. Bind off, weave in the yarn ends.

Materials:

steel hook = 0

2 skeins Micro-Spun ( Lion Brand Sports yarn, of regular sports yarn)= 168 yrds.@

Yarn needle

glue gun and glue

Sprig of Fall Leaves in various sized leaves, and colors

Air Freshner Doll

Styrofoam Bell shaped , 4" tall, to glue doll onto.

 

Stitches:

ch= chain

sc= single crochet

st = stitch

sl st= slip stitch

dc= double crochet

dec= decrease

sk= skip

 

Bodice:

 

1) Ch 31, sc in 2nd st from hook, * dc in next st, sc in next st, dc in next st * across.

 

2) Dc in sc, sc in dc, across

 

3) Ch 1, scin the dc and dc in the sc, for 5 sts, ch 9, sk 5 sts, sc in the dcs, and dc in the scs, for 7 sts, ch 9, sk 5 sts, dc in sc,and sc in dc, to the end of row. ( this gives you arm holes).

 

4) Ch 1, do the pattern st as in above rows. Also when you come to the chain 9's do the pattern st across them. ( At this point it will look like a jumper top.)

 

5)  Ch 1 turn, sc in the next 4 sts, * dec over next 2 sts, sc in next st* Repeat 4 times across shoulder, sc across to next shoulder, Repeat * to * and sc in last 4 sts. End off, and weave in ends.

 

Sleeves:

1) Attach Yarn at bottom of arm opening. sc up  5 sts, 3sc in each of the next 6 sts, sc to first sc and sl st to close.

 

2-3) Ch 1,turn, sc around sl st in first sc.

 

4) Ch 1, dec in same st and next st, dec next 2 sts together around. Sl st in first sc

 

5) Ch 1, sc in same st, and in the next 3 sts, dec 4 times over the next 8 sts, sc in next 4 sts, sl st in first sc.

 

6) Ch 1, sc in same st, and in next 4 sts, (dec next 2 sts together) 2 times, sc to the beginning sc, sl st and end off, weave in ends. Repeat for other sleeve.

 

Skirt:

1) Attach yarn and work in stitch design.

 

2) Increase 10 sts across evenly working in design stitch ( note: you will have 3 sts in some sts to keep pattern design.)

 

3) Work evenly across in pattern stitch.

 

4) Increase 10 sts, still work in pattern stitch

 

5) Work evenly across in pattern stitch.

 

6) Ch 3, 2 dc in same st, 3 dc in each st across

 

7) ch 3 3dc in base of ch 3, sk 2 sts, 1 sc in next st, * ch 3, sk 3 sts, 3 dc, in next st, sk 2 sts, 1 sc in next st, repeat from * across, sl st in beginning ch 3, ch 1 turn (you will be working in rounds now.) turn

 

8) * Ch 3, 3 dc in sc, 1 sc in next ch 3 sp, ch 3, repeat from * around turn

 

9-14) Repeat pattern rows  7&8 until you get 4 1/2 inches or 14 rows. end off weave in ends.

 

Assembly:

 

Glue doll to bell shaped styrofoam piece, Put dress on doll, and sew the back of the dress closed. Cut leaves off sprig, arrange evenly around bottom of dress. Glue smaller leaves around the hair bun. (for Halo) Take Largest leaves and next to largest leaves, ( They might be attached to each other already) Glue to back of Angel, for her Wings. Take a few of the small leaves and make a bouquet, glue to he hand.
