muItiples of 4 sts + 2.

 

For sample, cast on 26 ( 4 x 6 = 24 + 2 = 26)

 

Row 1: (right side): Purl.

 

Row 2: K1, *M3, p3tog; rep from * to last st, k1.

 

Row 3: (right side): Purl.

 

Row 4: K1, *p3tog, M3; rep from * to last st, k1.

 

M 3 = knit 1, purl 1, k 1, all in the same stitch

 

Repeat rows 1 to 4 for pattern until desired length, then row 1, bind off
