Note: S2Kp2, slip 2 stitches as one, knitwise, K the next stitch, pass 2 slipped over the stitch just knitted.

 Multiples of 7 + 4

 Cast on 25. ( 3 x 7 = 21 + 4 = 25)

 Row 1: knit (wrong side)

 Row 2: knit

 Row 3: purl

 Row 4: *k 4, yo, S2Kp2, yo, repeat from *, end k 4.

Repeat rows 1 to 4 for desired length, repeat rows 1 and 2 once, bind off.

Open Treble Bobble Stitch 2

Notes: Treble Bobble Stitch ( TBS ): work 1 T (yo 2x) until you have 2 loops left on hook, work 4 more T's until you have 6 loops left on hook, yo, draw through all loops on hook, 1 loop left.

Uneven amount of stitches

 For sample ch 27

 Row 1: work TBS in 4th ch from hook, * ch 2, sk 3 work TBS in next ch, repeat from * across row, ch 4 turn.

 Row 2: skip frist TBS, * work TBS in ch 2 sp, ch 2, repeat from * across row, end 1 TB in top of turning chain, ch 4, turn.

 Repeat row 2 for desired length.

Materials:

6 oz. of Pink, plus a couple of oz each  White, Purple and a Variegated purple in worsted weight.  I used Pink as my main color.

Size 5 & 7 circular knitting needles, size 7 double pointed needles

1 row counter, 10 stitch markers, yarn needle

With pink and using size 5 circular needle, cast on 96 being careful not to twist the stitches.

Rds 1 to 7: knit 2, purl 2

Change to size 7 circular needle, and start round 8 of chart, attach and fasten off colors as needed, do not fasten off pink.

Top of Hat:

Rd 36: inc to 100, knit place marker after every 10^th stitch.

Rd 37: Knit 

Rd 38: purl

Rd: 39 knit to 3 stitches before marker, k 2 tog, k 1.

Rd 40: knit

Repeat round 39 and 40 until you have 20 stitches left, change to double pointed needles when needed.

Next round: k 2 tog. , around.  Cut yarn leaving a long tail, run yarn needle though remaining stitches,  run needle though again, and pull up tight,  work ends of yarn in.
