This is an easy and fun stitch to try.
Multiples
of 6 chain plus 2.
For
sample chain 20 (3 x 6 + 2 = 20)
Row
1: 1 sc in 2nd ch from hook, * ch 5, skip 5 ch, 1 sc in next ch,
repeat form * across, ch 1, turn.
Row
2: 1 sc in first sc,* ch 5, 1 sc in next sc, repeat from * across row,
ch 1, turn.
Repeat
Row 2 until square or desired length.
These
would make nice curtains if crocheted with a thinner yarn. Or even place mats, and run ribbon thru the
ladles.
