October 2013 Stitch of the Month Crochet
For sample chain 30 (9x3+3= 30)
Row 1: right side–Work 1 dc in 4th ch from hook, * skip next 2 ch, work 2
dc, ch 2, 2 dc–all in next ch for shell, skip 2 ch, 1 dc in each of next 4 ch;
repeat from * twice more, skip next 2 ch, 1 shell in next ch, skip next 2 ch, 1
dc in each of last 2 ch.
Row 2: Ch 3, turn, 1 dc in 2nd dc, * 1 shell in next ch-2 space,
1 dc in each of next 4 dc; repeat from * twice more, 1 shell in next ch-2
space, 1 dc in next dc, 1 dc in top of turning ch.
Repeat row 2 until desired
length, fasten off.
