Row 1: P 2, * k 2 sts together, yarn ~ over twice, slip 1, k1, pass slip st  over k st and drop it. p 2 *; repeat from * to *.         

Row 2: K 2. * P 1. k 1. P 2, k 2 *;  repeat from * to *. 

Row 3: P 2. * k 4. P 2 *; repeat from * to *.

Row 4: K 2. * P 4. k 2 *; repeat from * to "'.

Repeat these 4 rows for pattern.

Rows 1, 3, 5, and 7: Work (k 1. P 1) 4 times for 8 moss stitch. * k 5, P1, work (k 1, p1) twice *, repeat from * to *, ending last repeat with p 1, (k.1, p 1) 3 times. (for sample end with p1, and do not repeat 3x)

Rows 2, 4, 6, and 8: Work (p 1. k 1 , 4 times. * p4, work (p 1. k 1) 3 times, * repeat from * to *, ending with p 1, k1.

Row 9 (moss st): * K 1, P 1 * repeat from * to *. Row 10 (moss st): * P 1, k 1 * ; repeat from * to *.

Rows 11, 13, I5, and 17: K 1. p 1. * k 5, work (p 1, k 1) twice, p 1 *; repeat from * to *, ending last repeat with p 1. k 1. p1.
