June 2012 Stitch of the Month Crochet
Based
on a multiple of 3 ch sts plus 2.
For
sample chain 17 (15 + 2 = 17)
Row
1: 1 dc in 8th ch from hook, * ch 2, skip 2 ch, 1 dc in next
ch, repeat from * across row , ch 5,
turn.
Row
2: * 1 sc in next ch-2 space, ch 2, 1 dc in next dc, ch 2, repeat from * across row, end 1 sc in
last space, ch 2, 1 dc in 3rd st of turning-ch, ch 5, turn.
Row
3: * 1 dc in next dc, ch 2, repeat from * across roq, end 1 dc in 3rd
st of turning-ch, ch 5, turn.
Repeat
Rows 2 and 3 for pattern.
Note:
This too would make a nice coaster set by 20 ( 6 x 3 = 18 + 2 = 20) work until
square, then make one using single crochet the same size as the square, and
crocheting them together.
