For sample, ch 20.
Row 1–right side–Work 1 tr in 5th ch from hook, 1 tr in each remaining ch
Row 2–Ch 1, turn, work 1 sc in each st, end 1 sc in top of turning
ch;
Row 3–Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in first st, work a bead st as
follows;–holding the loop on hook, insert hook in next st, yo and draw up a
loop, ch 3 in this loop only for bead, yo and through the 2 loops on hook to
complete bead, keep bead on right side of work, 1 sc in next st, * 1 bead st in
next st, 1 sc in next st; repeat from * to end; 16 bead sts made.
Row 4–Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in each st.
Row 5– Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in first st, work a bead st as
follows;–holding the loop on hook, insert hook in next st, yo and draw up a
loop, ch 3 in this loop only for bead, yo and through the 2 loops on hook to
complete bead, keep bead on right side of work, 1 sc in next st, * 1 bead st in
next st, 1 sc in next st; repeat from * to end; 16 bead sts made.
Row 6– Ch 1, turn, 1 sc in each st.
Row 7–Ch 4, turn, skip first st, work 1 tr in each remaining
st;
Repeat rows 2 to 7 until
desired length, fasten off.
