Cables and Lace Shawl 2013 Mystery Knit Along

2013 Mystery Knit Along

Cables and Lace Knitted Shawl @ 2013 by N Banks

2013 Mystery Knit Along

This is my Cable and Lace Shawl I did as a mystery knit along in 2013 on my yahoo knitting and crochet list, it's about six foot long and about 2 1/2 feet wide. It has cables, lace, and yarn overs, not hard to do, but not for beginners.

Materials needed:

1 ½ balls Caron one pound in color of your choice.  But I would use a light color so that the stitches will show up.

10 stitch markers,   row counter,   size 10 1/2 knitting needles, u shaped cable needle.

Notes:

SM = slip markers, and place the markers as you see the sm.
SSK = slip one st knit wise, slip another st knit wise, then with left hand needle, insert in front loops of both stitches and knit
