Eyelet Stitch

 Multiples of 4 + 1

Note: S2Kp2, slip 2 stitches as one, knitwise, K the next stitch, pass 2 slipped over the stitch just knitted.

 Cast of 21 ( 4 x 5 + 1 = 21)

Rows 1 & 3: * k1, p 3, across from *. End with k 1. (right side row) 

Row 2 and all even rows. Purl

 Row 5:  * k1, yo, S2Kp2, yo, repeat from * to last stitch, end, k1.

 Row 6: purl

Repeat rows 1 to 6 for desired length, then rows 1 to 3 once, bind of in purl.
