November 2006 Knit Stitch of the Month
Multiple of 6 sts + 5
Row 1: k5, *p1, k5; repeat from * across row.
Row 2: k1, *p3, k3; repeat from * across row, end p3, k1
Row 3: p2, *k1, p5; repeat from * across row, end k1, p2
Row 4: repeat row 3
Row 5: repeat row 2
Row 6: repeat row 1
Repeat these 6 rows for pattern.
If you want to make a dishcloth, cast on 35 stitches and work until square, cast off, and weave in the threads.

Mama's Peach cobbler
Mama's Peach cobbler
sliced fresh peaches to fill 9 by 13 baking glass pan. (about 6 pounds)
flour to thicken juices (maybe about 3 tablespoons)
1 1/2 to 2 cups sugar, sprinkled over top of peaches.
1 teaspoon cinn.
dot with 3 tablespoons butter, put crust on it, cut slices into crust, dot with butter again, sprinkle with sugar (about 1 tablespoon) bake at 350 for one hour.
