Strawberries & Cream Coasters


Strawberries Cream Coasters

Materials needed:  

2 Balls White #1
2 Balls Strawberry Cream # 144
G hook

Stitches Used:    Single crochet, Double crochet,   Slip stitch         


Rw 1, With white ch 18 , 1 dc in 3rd ch from hook, 1 dc in ch,  ch 1, skip 3 ch, in next chain, work 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc (shell made), ch 1, skip 3 ch, 1 dc in next 3 ch (3dc group made) Ch 1, 1 dc in last ch. Turn.

Rw 2 Ch 3, 1 dc in each of next 3 dc, * ch 1, shell over shell, ch 1, 1 dc in each of next 3 dc group. End 1 dc in top of turning chain. Cut white, attach strawberry cream.

Rw 3 - 4, With strawberry cream, repeat row 2, turn. After row 4, fasten off strawberry cream.  

Rw 5  Attach white to other side of beg. ch 18. Ch 3,  1 dc in each of next 3 dc.   Ch 1, skip 3 ch, shell over shell, ch 1 skip 3 ch, 1 dc in next 3 dc, Ch 1, 1 dc in top of  last stitch.  Turn.

Rw 6  Repeat row 2. Fasten off white, attach strawberry cream.

Rw 7-8  With Strawberry cream, repeat row 2, at end of row 8,  do not turn.

Rw 9, Ch 1, sc around coaster, 3 sc in each corner, with 2 sc in each 2 ch space and 1 sc in each 1 ch space. Fasten off strawberry cream and weave ends in.

Repeat rows 1-9 for other three coasters.

Strawberry Cream Chair Pads

This is the last of the Strawberry Cream Kitchen set. I hope you have enjoyed this complete kitchen set.  You will find it all under Strawberry Creme Kitchen Set.Chair Pads (use two strands hold together, this pattern is worked from the top down)

 Peaches and Cream  Cotton by Elmore-Pisgah, Inc.

        3 cones White #1
        3 cones Strawberry Cream # 144
        G Hook                                  I Hook

Stitches Used:    Single crochet, Double crochet,   Slip stitch       
 
With two strands of white and I hook, chain 54.

Rw 1: 1 dc in 3 ch from hook, 1 dc in next  2 ch, * ch 1, skip 3 ch, in next ch, work 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc (shell made), ch 1, skip 3 ch, 1 dc in next 3 ch (3dc group made).*  Repeat from * to * across. Turn. (6 –3 dc groups & 5 shell over shell groups)

Rows 2-3:  Ch 3, Skip first dc, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, * ch 1, shell over shell, ch 1, 1 dc in each of next 3 dc group *. Repeat from * to *. End 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, 1 dc in top of turning chain. Cut white, attach strawberry cream.

Rws 4-6: With two strands of strawberry cream, repeat row 2, turn. After row 6, fasten off strawberry cream. Attach white.

Rows 7-9:  With white, repeat row 2. At end of row 9, fasten off white. Attach strawberry cream.

Rows 10-12: With strawberry cream, repeat row 2. Fasten off at end of row 12.
                                                                                                                 
Rows  13-15: With white, repeat row 2, fasten off white at end of row 15.   

Rows 16-18: With Strawberry cream, repeat row 2, fasten of cream at end of row 18.

Rows 19-21:  With white, repeat row 2, fasten of white at end of row 21.

Row 22: With strawberry cream, repeat row 2, do not turn, do not fasten off.

Row 23:  Ch 1, sc around chair pad, 3 sc in each corner, with 2 sc in each 2 ch space and 1 sc in each 1 ch space. Fasten off strawberry cream and weave ends in. 

For ties:

 With 2 strands of white, leave a tail of about 5", ch 40, sc to corner st of first row of chair pad, 1 sc in same place, skip 2 sc, 2 sc in next space, ch 40, leaving a tail of about 5" fasten off.  Repeat for other 1st row corner.  Do for set of chair pads.
 
For Tassels

  Cut a piece of card board 4” inches.   Using 2 strands each of White and Strawberry Creme, wrap the yarn around the cardboard 10 times. Use the ends of the ties to tie the tassel at the top, tie tight. Cut the yarn at the bottom. Tie again about 1 inch from the top of the tassel.  Cut the yarn at the end of the tassel even. Repeat for the other 15 tassels.

Stitches Used:    Single crochet, Double crochet,   Slip stitch       

Rd 1:  With white ch 18 to form ring, ch 2, 1 dc in same place, 1 dc in next ch,  ch 1, skip 3 ch, in next ch, work 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc (shell made), ch 1, skip 3 ch, 1 dc in next 3 ch (3dc group made) Ch 1, skip 3 ch, in next ch, work 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc, join with slip stitch to top of ch 2. Fasten off white, attach Strawberry Cream.

Rd 2:  Ch 3, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc,  ch 1, shell over shell, ch 1, 1 dc in each of next 3 dc group, ch 1, skip 3 ch, shell over shell, ch 1, join.     

Rd 3: Ch 1, sc around napkin ring, with 2 sc in each 2 ch space and 1 sc in each 1 ch space. Fasten off strawberry cream and weave ends in.

Rd 4:   Attach white to any 3 dc group on other side of beg. ch 18. Ch 2, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, Ch 1, skip 3 ch, shell over shell, ch 1 skip 3 ch,  1  dc in next 3 dc, Ch 1, shell over shell, ch 1, join. Fasten off  white .

Rd 5:  Repeat row 2. Fasten off white, attach strawberry cream.

Rd 6:  Ch 1, sc around napkin ring, with 2 sc in each 2 ch space and 1 sc in each 1 ch space. Fasten off strawberry cream and weave ends in.

Repeat rows 1-6 for other three Napkin Rings.

Row 2: * K I, P 4 * repeat across row.

Row 3: * K 3, P 2 * repeat across row.

Row 4: * K3, P2* repeat across row.     

Row 5: * K I, P 4 * repeat across row.

Row 6: K to end of row.

Repeat rows 1 to 6 until square, or desired length.

Rd 1: Ch 4, join to make the ring.

Ch 3 (counts as 1 DC) 3 Dc in ring, * ch 1, 1 sc in ring, ch 1 , 4 dc in ring, * repeat from * to * twice more, for a total of 4 leafs, join. Chain 30, fasten off.
