Pineapple and fans tablecloth

Just finished my new tablecloth. I added an extra row of pineapples, then joined them and also added the fans. I needed the added length so that it would hang over the table's edge.

Sewing for my kitchen

I have been sewing for my kitchen, made new curtains for both the door and window, apron, and plastic bag holder to match them. Didn't have a pattern, the darn things cost way to much, so I just take measurements and then made them. The apron and plastic bag holder are in older posts so you can get the pattern links for these free.

My granddaughter is learning to sew, but as yet can not work with patterns. Her little brother wanted her to make him something, so this is what she made. And remember, she had no pattern!! Complete with shoes, vest, pants, even eyes!!

My Award!!

http://craftsbyap.blogspot.com/ gave me this award. Very nice of her, considering I think her work is great.
Now I have to select 5 blogs and pass this award down. If I leave you a note saying that I am giving you this award then you can come back here and save this award to your own hard drive. Then post it to your blog with a link back to my blog. After that you can create a post with your selections of five bloggers and that is all there is to it. Now all I have to do is find four more blogs I really like!! Thank you Deb!!!

Knitted ski hat and matching scarf

I have finished the Alien ski hat and matching scarf I did for a friend. These I really had fun doing, even the charting for the alien!! I used a bright green for the scarf and hat, with white for the alien and a shaded green for the eyelash. Hope she likes it.

Valentine's Day

A friend asked to me make a car valentine for her grandson, this has a pocket in the back to add candy or anything she wants to. I also made my grandson one, the little boys love cars, and this one seems to be smiling right back at them.

Green Ski Hat

A friend has asked me to design an alien ski hat and scarf for her daughter's birthday. I had a lot of fun doing this one, and it turned out really cute. Now on to the scarf. It will look like this same design, same colors, but will have a pocket in the back of the design.

Valentine's Day

This is what the grand kids and my nieces are getting for Valentine's Day, there is a pocket in the back so I can put anything I want too in it. I can make them with different sayings like Love, Best Friends, but this one is my favorite. Or I can just make coasters out of them.

Sofa Pillows

I like to sew, and needed some new pillows for my living room sofa. I didn't have a pattern, just starting sewing and cutting, then made the pillow forms to fix the pillows I had sewn.
