hook, and 1 dc in each chain across row.
(Note–To work
dc around post of dc from front, yo, insert hook from front to back in space
before dc, then from back to front on other side of same dc, yo and draw up a
loop, yo and through 2 loops, yo and through 2 loops–top of st is left free. To
work dc around post of dc from back, yo, insert hook from back to front in
space before dc, then from front to back on other side of same dc and work a
dc–top of st is left free. )
Row 2: Ch 3, turn, skip first dc, 1 dc around
post of each of next 3 dc from front, * 1 dc around post of each of next 3 dc
from back, 1 dc around post of each of next 3 dc from front; repeat from *
across row. 1 dc in top of turning ch.
For pattern,
repeat row 2 until square or desired length.
