This Country

It's a sad fact, but true, we can put a man on the Moon, win wars, make things that can kill off the entire human race, help other countries, but we can't save our children's future. With all the cut backs in Federal, state, local government and school programs our lives and that of our children are at stake.

This country is a giving, caring and sharing one, and we have given so much to other countries, but the greatest gift to us is our children. They are America's greatest natural resource, and our most endangered species. To cut back on Education, protection and programs for our People, it's America's greatest shame. We all become victims then. Whether it's drug abuse, child abuse, other types of crime, aid for the poor, jobs, it's all the same. We need to get back to the basics. We paid are people in congress too much money for what is going in the coffers.

WANT TO SAVE THE WORLD? Help America first, see to it that there is no crime, no abuse, no hunger, plenty of schools and jobs, then you won't have to cut programs and services we need. THEN save the world with our tax dollars.
