If things can go wrong, then they sure did for Gracie, the heroine of the story. After returning home to begin her life again, things start to happen, but her sons and some one that knows she is a great, beautiful person comes to her rescue and now she has a second change at happiness and love. Cast on a multiple of 4 + 2 stitches For sample, on size 8 needles cast on 18 stitches. 1st and 3rd rows: Purl 2nd row: K1, *(K1, P1, K1) into the next st, P3 tog, repeat from * to last st, k1 4th row: K1, *P3 tog, (K1, P1, K1) into the next st, repeat from * to last stitch, k1 Repeat rows 1 - 4 for pattern until square or desired length. You can crochet an edging around it for a coaster or make several of the square, and sew together for a hot mat then crochet a nice edging around it. You could even try a baby blanket by casting on more stitches, say 122 stitches (30 x 4 = 120 + 2) and knitting until square, bind off, and crochet an edging around it.

NOTE: this yarn is not being made any longer, you can use two strands of worsted weight yarn.

Row 1 ch 32, 1dc in 4th from hook and in each chain across row, ch 3, turn.

Row 2 * 1 Front Post stitch in next dc, 1 Back Post stitch in next dc, repeat from * across row, ch 3, turn.

Repeat row 2, until square, fasten off, attach edging yarn, evenly sc around square, placing 3 sc in each corner, fasten off, weave in threads.
