Plus idea for use!!
Multiple of 10 sts + 1.
(add 5 for base chain)
For sample ch 26:
(2x10+1+5 = 26)
Notes: on back side, push
popcorn stitch to the front.
Popcorn stitch: 5 dc, remove hook, and insert hook in first
dc from the back, and then insert hook into the last dc, yo, and pull though,
tighten loop if you need to.
Row 1: (right side): 1 sc into 9th ch from hook, 1 sc into each of next 2
ch, * 3 ch, skip 3 ch, 5 dc popcorn into next ch, 3 ch, skip 3 ch, 1 sc into
each of next 3ch; rep from * to last 4 ch, 3ch, skip 3 ch, 1 dc into last ch,
turn.
Row 2: 1 ch, 1 sc into first st,
* 1 sc into next sc, 3 ch, 5 dc popcorn into 2nd of next 3 sc, 3 ch * *, 1 sc
into stitch just before next popcorn of row below, 1 sc into next popcorn; rep from * ending
last rep at * *, skip 2ch of turning chain, 1sc into each of next 2 ch,
turn. (remember to push popcorn stitch
to the front)
Row 3: 6 ch (count as 1 dc and 3
ch), * 1 sc into sc just before next popcorn, 1 sc into next popcorn, 1 sc into
next sc, 3 ch * *, 5dc popcorn into 2nd of next 3 sc, 3 ch; rep from * ending
last rep at * *, 1 dc into last sc, skip turning chain, turn.
Repeat rows 2 and 3 until
desired length.
Scarf
Chain 26,
Rows 1 & 2: 1 dc in 3
ch from hook, and in each ch across row, turn.
Now start pattern, work
until desired length, then do 2 rows of dc.
Fasten off, weave in the
yarn.
