You have to read this book. I just finished one book and started this one. Much to my surprise I couldn't put it down. Great book about a lady wanting to start over. She inherited a bed and breakfast and a buried body. Loved it. Set up til midnight reading.
Don't you just hate an author that does that to you. Lol. Yea. Right.

Multiples of 5 + 2

For sample cast on 22 (5 x 4 = 20 + 2 = 22)

Row 1: *p 2, k 1, p 1, k 1, * end p 2.

Row 2: k 2, * p 3, k 2, *

Repeat these two rows for pattern, this would make a really nice ribbing.

4 balls each strawberry & white cotton yarn G hook

Rw 1: With white ch 74, 1 dc in 3 ch from hook, 1 dc in next ch, * ch 1, skip 3 ch, in next ch, work 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc (shell made), ch 1, skip 3 ch, 1 dc in next 3 ch (3dc group made).*  Repeat from * to * across. Turn.

Rw 2: Ch 2, Skip first dc, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, * ch 1, shell over shell, ch 1, 1 dc in each of next 3 dc group *. Repeat from * to *. End 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, 1 dc in top of turning chain. Cut white, attach strawberry cream.

Rws 3 – 4: With strawberry cream, repeat row 2, turn. After row 4, fasten off strawberry cream. Attach white.

Rws 5-7:  With white, repeat row 2. At end of row 7, fasten off white. Attach strawberry cream.

Rw 8:  With strawberry cream, repeat row 2. Fasten off at end off row.

Rw 9:  Attach white to other side of beg. ch 74. Ch 2, skip 1 dc, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc. * Ch 1, skip 3 ch, shell over shell, ch 1,  skip 3 ch, 1 dc in next 3 dc,* Repeat across row, Turn.

Rw 10: Repeat row 2. Fasten off white, attach strawberry cream.

Rws 11-12: With Strawberry cream, repeat row 2, at end of row 12, fasten off strawberry cream.  Attach  white.

Rws 13-15: With white, repeat row 2. At end of row 15, fasten off white. Attach strawberry cream.

Rw 16: With strawberry cream, repeat row 2. Do not turn.

Rw 17: Ch 1, sc around Place Mat, 3 sc in each corner, with 2 sc in each 2 ch space and 1 sc in each 1 ch space. Fasten off strawberry cream and weave ends in.
