For the Kiss Dragon Loom or use another loom as long as you have15 pegs and can match the gauge of 10 stitches/14 rows/4” [10cm] as close as possible. 1 to 2 skeins of Wool Ease yarn are needed for this wonderfully simple cabled scarf that you can knit either as a keyhole or a traditional one.

Based on a multiple of 4 chain plus 1.

For sample chain 21 ( 4 x 5 = 20 + 1 = 21)

Row 1: 1 dc in 4 chain from hook, and in each chain across row, ch 3, turn.

Row 2: Yo twice, draw up a loop in next dc, * yo, draw through 2 loops, yo, skip 2 dc, draw up a loop in next dc, (yo, draw through 2 loops) until 1 loop remains on hook, ch 2, 1 dc in center of st just worked for a cross stitch, yo twice, draw up a loop in next dc, repeat from * across, end last repeat with 1 tr in top of turning ch, ch 3, turn.

Row 3: 1 dc in first dc, * 2 dc in 2 ch sp, 1 dc in next 2 dc repeat from * across row. end 2 dc in next dc, 1 dc in top of turning chain, ch 4, turn.

Row 4: Skip 1 dc, Yo twice, draw up a loop in next dc, * yo, draw through 2 loops, yo, skip 2 dc, draw up a loop in next dc, (yo, draw through 2 loops) until 1 loop remains on hook, ch 2, 1 dc in center of st just worked for a cross stitch, yo twice, draw up a loop in next dc, repeat from * across, end last repeat with 1 tr in top of turning ch, ch 3, turn.

Repeat Rows 3 & 4 for pattern, end pattern repeat with row 3.
