June 2023 Pattern of the Month Crochet
My Wheel and Shells Dishcloth @2008 by Nadine Beeton
Special stitches:
2dc, ch2, 2dc = shell
Hook size: G
Yarn: Sugar and Cream Cotton
Chain 5, Slip
stitch to join.
Rd 1: 15 Treble crochets in first chain, slip stitch to join
Rd 2: Chain 2, 2hdc in back loop of each stitch around, join with slip stitch
Rd 3: Chain 1, *sc in back loop of 1st stitch, 2 sc in back loop of next stitch, repeat from * around, join with slip stitch
Rd 4: Chain 2, hdc in back loop of each stitch around, join with slip stitch
Rd 5: Chain 1, sc in back loop of each stitch around, join with slip stitch
Rd 6: Chain 3, dc in same stitch as joining, ch 2, 2dc in same stitch. * ch 1, skip two stitches, (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in next stitch. Repeat from * around, slip stitch to join.
Rd 7: Slip stitch to ch2 space, chain 3, dc, ch2, 2dc in same stitch, *dc in ch1 space, skip 2 stitches, (2dc, ch2, 2dc) in next stitch. Repeat from * around, join with slip stitch
Rd 8: Slip stitch to chain 2 space, chain 3, dc, ch2, 2dc in same space. *2dc, ch2, 2dc in next chain 2 space of shell. Repeat around from *. Slip stitch and fasten off. Weave in ends.

psso*, repeat from
* to * across row, end K 1, p1, k1
Repeat rows 1 to 4 for length, then row 1, bind off.
