1 ball each Gold & Silver Spangled, Aqua Spangled and Purples and Silver Spangle
The famous "Puritan" Mercerized crochet cotton article 40,
1 ball each white, turquoise and shaded purples or colors of your choice. You can also use size 10 crochet thread

Steel crochet hook #7
With gold or white chain 6, join to form a ring, ch 7, treble crochet (trc) in ring, *ch 3, trc in ring, repeat from * 9x, ch 3, join in 4th stitch of ch.
Rd 2 sl st to loop of shell, ch 3, 1 dc, ch 3, 2dc in same loop, ch 2, dc in next loop, ch 2, * 2dc, ch 3, 2 dc in next loop, (shell), ch 2, dc in next loop, ch 2, repeat from * all around, join in 3rd st of ch.
Rd 3 sl st to loop of shell, ch 3, 1 dc, ch 3, 2 dc in same loop, ch 3, skip the next loop, 1 dc, ch1, 1dc in next dc, ch 3, * shell in next shell, ch 3, skip the next loop, 1 dc, ch 1, 1dc in next dc, ch 3, repeat from * all around, join in 3rd st of ch.
Rd 4 sl st to loop of shell, ch 3, 1 dc, ch 3, 2dc in same loop, ch4, skip the next loop, dc in next dc, ch1, dc in next ch1 sp, ch 1, dc in next dc, ch 4, * shell in next shell, ch4, skip the next loop, dc in next dc, ch 1, dc in next ch 1 sp, ch 1, dc in next dc, ch 4 , repeat from * all around, join in 3rd st of ch.

Rd 7 ch1 and work 17 sc over each loop, join in n1st sc.
Rd 8 ch 1, working in back loops of last row, work 1 sc in each of the next 7sc, 3sc in next sc, 1 sc in each of the next 7sc, * skip next 2sc, 1 sc in each of the next 7sc, 3 sc in next sc, 1 sc in each of the next 7sc, repeat from *all around, join in lst sc.
Repeat the last round for the remainder of the doily, working 2 more rounds in gold or white, 4 rounds in aqua or turquoise and 4 rounds in purple and sliver or shaded purples.

Do you know how LONG I have been looking for this particular pattern (with the ruffles? or "ripples"?)??? Days and weeks and hours spent online, and then some people are selling this same pattern (that they got for free harumph)
THANK YOUUUUuUUUuUuU! I just love this pattern, it can be really elegant if done in the right colors (use cro-sheen satin, pastel pink for the ruffles and a pastel pale green-ish satiny-silky sheen for the lace/picot/edging) I think a lot of people pass up on this pattern because it doesn't look right in some pictures or the people use the wrong colors.
