My Mom's Recipes

My Mom's Recipe
My mom died in 1995, and all her life she was a great cook. My brothers and sister didn't get some of her great ones, but I did. Below is one.

Mom's Bourbon Balls

1 cup Vanilla wafers, crushed.
1 cup powered sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
2 tablespoons cocoa
1/4 cup bourbon
1 1/2 tablespoons white corn syrup

Mix all well together, form in 1 inch balls, roll in the powered sugar, and wrap foil.
Store in covered jar about four weeks, then serve.

Mom sent this to me while living in England.

crazy mug rugs

Two more what I call crazy mug rugs, bigger at about 8 inches square, Christmas gifts this year. The backing and binding are the same.
