2 balls white #1
1 ball Variegated
1 size G crochet hook

 



Rd 1: with Variegated, ch 4 to from ring.

Rd 2: ch 1, 6 sc in ring, join.

Rd 3: ch 1, 1 sc in s/p, 2 sc in each sc around, join.(12 sc + the stitch for joining)

Rd 4:  ch1, 1 sc in s/p, * sc next 2 sc together around, join. Fasten off, attach white.(6 sc + the stitch for joining)

Rd 5:  ch 1, 1sc in s/p, 2 sc in each sc around, join.(12 sc + the stitch for joining)

Rd 6:  ch 1, 1sc in s/p, * 2 sc in next sc, 1 sc in next, repeat from * around, end 1sc in last SC, join.  (18 sc)

Rd 7:  ch 2(does not count as a stitch
), 1 dc in s/p, 1 dc in each sc, around, join. (18 dc)

Rd 8:  ch 2(counts as a stitch
), 1FPS around first dc, * 1 dc in next dc, 1 FPS around same dc, repeat from * around, join. ( 18 dc 18 posts)

Rd 9:  ch 2, Post around post, 1 dc in next dc, repeat from * around,
join.( 18 dc 18 posts)
Rd10: ch 2 working in back loops, dc around each post and dc, (70 dc)

Begin working in rows:
Row 11:   divide for openings, ch 2, * post around next dc, 1 dc in next 2 dc, repeat from * across, end 1 dc in last stitch, turn. (13 posts, 26 dc)


Row 12:  ch 2, BPS around first post, * 1dc in next 2dc, 1 Bps around next post stitch, repeat from * , end 1 dc in turning ch 2, turn.(13 posts, 26dc)

Row 13:  ch 2,  FPS around first post, * 1 dc in next dc, 2 dc in next dc, FPS around next post, repeat from *, end 1 dc in last dc, turn.( 13 posts, 38 dc, 3 dc between posts now)

Row 14: ch 2
, 1 BPS around first post, * 1 dc in next 3dc, BPS around post, repeat from *, end 1 dc in turning ch, turn. ( 13 posts, 38 dc)

Row 15: ch 2, 1 FPS around post, * 1 dc in next 3 dc, FPS around next post, repeat from * around, end 1 dc in turning ch, turn. ( 13 posts, 38 dc)

Row 16:   ch 2, 1 BPS around first post, * 1 dc in next 3 dc, BPS around next post, repeat from *, end 1 dc in turning ch, fasten off. ( 13 posts, 38 dc)

Row 17:  with top right side of work facing you, reattach white to round 11, (end of row 12), ch 2,
* FPS around next dc, 1dc in next 2 dc, repeat form *, end 1dc in stitch after last post, turn. ( 13 posts, 26 dc)    

Rows 18-22: repeat rows 12-16, at end of row 22, fasten off white.

Begin working in rounds again.

Rd 23:  attach white to beginning of row 23, ch 2, 1 FPS around fist post, *1dc in next 3 dc, FPS around, next post, repeat from * across first half , 1dc in turning ch, join second half by 2 dc in next dc, 1 FPS around first post ** 1 dc in next 3 dc, 1 FPS around next post, repeat from ** around, end 2 dc in dc after last post, join. (26 post stitches with 3 dc between them)


Rd 24: ch 2, 1 FPS around first post, * 1 dc in next 3 dc, 1 FPS around next post, repeat from * around, join, fasten off.. (26 post stitches with 3 dc between them)

NOTE: Try
tea cozy on tea pot, if you need to make it longer, repeat row 24.

Rd 25 attach Variegated to the top of
any post of row 24, ch 2, 4dc in same place (beg shell made), * skip 1dc, sc in next dc, skip 1dc, 5dc in next dc (shell made), repeat from * around, join, fasten off.

Rd 26 attach Variegated to any free loop on round 10, ch 2, 4 dc in same place, * skip 1 loop, SC in next loop, skip 1 loop, 5dc in next loop, repeat from * around,  end sc in last dc, join to beg ch 2, fasten off.

Doily:
Rd. 1: With white, ch 6 to form ring. Ch 3, (1DC, ch 1 in ring,) 12 times. Slip stitch to 2nd ch
of beginning ch 3. (13 chain ones spaces.)

Rd 2: Ch 2, FPS around base of THIS ch2, * 1dc in ch 1 sp, FPS around post of next dc, repeat from * around. End slip stitch to beg. Ch 2. (13 post stitch & 13 dc. Beg chain 2 counts as one dc.)

Rd 3: Ch 2, FPS around post next post, 2 dc in next dc, FPS around next post stitch around. (You'll have 2 dc between each post stitch). End, post stitch around next post stitch, 1 dc, slip stitch to top of beg ch2. (13 posts & 26 dc.)

Rd 4: Ch 2 FPS around post stitch, * 3 dc, FPS around post stitch, repeat from * around. End FPS around next post stitch, 2 dc, slip stitch to top of beg ch2. (13 posts & 39 dc)
 
Rd 5: Ch 2, FPS around next post stitch, * 4 dc, FPS around next post stitch, repeat from * around. End FPS around next post stitch, 3 dc, slip stitch to top of beg ch2. (13 posts & 52 dc. with 4 dc between posts)

Rd 6: Ch 2, FPS around next post stitch, * 5 dc, FPS around next post stitch, repeat from * around. End FPS around next post stitch, 4 dc, slip stitch to top of ch2. (13 posts & 65 dc with 5 dc between each post).

Rd 7: Ch 2, FPS around next post stitch, * 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, FPS around post of next dc, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, FPS around post of next post stitch, repeat form * around. End FPS, 1dc, slip stitch to top of beg ch2. (26 posts & 52 dc, with 2 dc between posts)

Rd 8: Ch 2, FSP around next post stitch, * 3 dc, FPS around next post stitch, repeat from * around. End 2 dc, slip stitch to top of beg ch 2. (26 posts with 3dc between each post.)

Rd 9: Ch 2, FPS around next post stitch, 4 dc, post stitch around next post, around End 3 dc, slip stitch to top of beg ch 2.
(26 FPS with 4 dc between post)

Rd 10: ch 2, FPS around post stitch, * 5 dc, post stitch around post stitch, repeat from * around, end 4 dc , s/s to top of ch 2.
(26 FPS with 5 dc between posts)

Rd 11 Ch 2, FPS around next post stitch, * 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, FPS around post of next dc, 1 dc in each of next 2 dc, FPS around post of next post stitch, repeat form * around. End FPS, 1 dc, slip stitch to top of beg ch 2, fasten of white.

Rd 12, With posts facing you, attach Variegated to the top of any post stitch, ch 2, 4 dc in top of post stitch, skip 1 dc,* single crochet in next dc, slip next 2 dc, 5 dc in top of next post stitch, * repeat from * to * around. End slip stitch to beg ch 2. Fasten off.
