5 oz/ 140 gr/275 yd skein;, any color,
1 skein eyelash yarn,
two markers.
1 skein eyelash yarn,
two markers.
Size 11 knitting needles
Cast on 23
Using both yarns together, set
up row: k3, pm, k 17, pm, k3 and knit total of 6 row, drop eyelash, and start
pattern:
Row 1 (RS): K3, P 2, *YO, k 1, yo, p 2; rep from * across to last marker, k3
Row 2: k3, (edge stitch) K 2, *
p 3, k 2: rep from * across to last marker, k3
Row 3: k3, (edge stitch) P 2, *
k 3, p 2; rep from * across to last marker, k3
Row 4: k3, (edge stitch) K 2, *
p3 tog, k 2; rep from * across to last marker, k3.
Knit 16 rows of pattern.
Knit 6 rows with both yarns.
Knit 12 rows of pattern.
Knit 6 rows with both yarns.
Knit 16 rows of pattern.
Knit 6 rows with both yarns,
bind off.

I have knit the pattern as shown, but it doesn't work for me. I end up with too many stitches at the end of the 4th row. Comments please. Mary
the 4th row is a decrease row. If you end up with too many stithces, rip it out and start over. Watch row 1 carefully, rows 2 and 3 no increases, row 4 you will decrease the stitches add in row 1. And yes, this pattern has been tested many times.
