April 2017 Pattern of the Month crochet

Country Gardens Dish soap Bottle Apron

Materials:
1 ball each Cream #3  Country Garden #167 Peaches & Crème by Elmore-Pisgah, Inc.
1 G hook

Rw 1 Ch 9, 1 sc in 2nd from hook, 1 sc in each ch across. Turn (8sc)

Rw 2-5  Ch 1, sc in each sc across. Turn

Rw 6   ch 2, 1 dc in same place, 2 dc in each sc across row. Turn. (Ch 2 counts as 1 dc, 16 dc)

Rw 7 (front) Ch 2, 1 FPS around post of next dc, 1dc in next dc, FPS around next dc across. Turn. (7 posts & 8dc).

Rw 8 (back) Ch 2, BPS around next post stitch, 2 dc, BPS around next post stitch across. End 1 dc in beg. ch 2 of  row below. Turn. ( 7 post & 14 dc.)

Rw 9  Ch 2, FPS around next post stitch, 3 dc, FPS around next post stitch across. End 1 dc in ch 2 of row below. Turn. (7 posts & 20 dc. 3 dc between posts)

Rw 10 Ch 2, BPS around next post stitch, 4 dc, BPS around next post. End 1 dc in ch 2 of row below. Fasten off cream.  (7 posts & 26 dc.)

Rw 11, With right side facing you, attach Country Gardens to the start of beg ch 8 of row 1 (top of apron) and sc across the row, 3 sc in corner stitch, working down the side, sc along the side. Work along row 10, work 1 sc in first dc, 5 dc in first post stitch, skip 2 dc, sc in next dc, 5 dc in next post stitch, across row 10, 1 sc in last stitch of row 10. Working along other side of the apron, sc across, slip stitch to beg of row 10, do NOT fasten off, Chain 15, (neck piece of apron) slip stitch to beg  of row 11. Fasten off. Weave in yarn.  Attach Country Gardens to row 5 and chain 30 for tie, fasten off. Repeat for other side of apron.
