multiples of 4 stitches, + 2
For sample, cast on 18 ( 4 x 4 = 16 + 2 = 18)
Row 1: (RS) *k2, p2, repeat from *
across, end with k2.
Row 2: *p2, k2, repeat from across,
end with p2.
Row 3: repeat row 1
Rows 4 to 6, purl across.
Repeat rows 1 to 6 for pattern stitch
or desired length.
