Row 3: *k1, k2tog, leaving sts on left hand needle, k first st again, slip both from needle; rep from *
Row 4: Purl
Repeat these four rows for the pattern.

A interesting stitch pattern. As a beginner/intermediate knitter, the instructions are so well written that I think I can do this.
