Row 2: k1, *p3, k3; repeat from * across row, end p3, k1

Row 3: p2, *k1, p5; repeat from * across row, end k1, p2

Row 4: repeat row 3

Row 5: repeat row 2

Row 6: repeat row 1

Repeat these 6 rows for pattern.

If you want to make a dishcloth, cast on 35 stitches and work until square, cast off, and weave in the threads.

Mama's Peach cobbler

Mama's Peach cobbler

sliced fresh peaches to fill 9 by 13 baking glass pan. (about 6 pounds)
flour to thicken juices (maybe about 3 tablespoons)
1 1/2 to 2 cups sugar, sprinkled over top of peaches.
1 teaspoon cinn.

dot with 3 tablespoons butter, put crust on it, cut slices into crust, dot with butter again, sprinkle with sugar (about 1 tablespoon) bake at 350 for one hour.

This square uses Elmore-Pisgah's Double Worsted Weight yarn. Use two strands of worsted weight in place of the double.

Row 1: ch 27, 1sc in 2nd chain from hook, and in each ch across row, ch 1, turn.

Row 2: 1sc in each sc across row, ch 1, turn.

Row 3: 1sc in first 2sc, * sc in sc 1 row below, 1 sc in next 2sc, repeat from * across row, ch 1, turn.

Row 4 & 5: repeat row 2,

Row 6: 1sc in first 1sc, sc in sc 1 row below, sc in next sc, sc in sc 1 row below, * sc in next 2sc, sc in sc 1 row below, repeat across row, ch 1, turn.

Row 7 & 8: repeat row 2

Repeat from row 3 to 8 for pattern, do 4 repeats, then rows 3,4 and 5 once, fasten off, do edging around. Make 4 or 5 squares.
