June 2007 Stitch of the Month ~~ Knit
For sample, cast on 23 stitches.
Work with a multiple of 6 stitches, plus 5.
Rows l and 3: K4, * p3, k3 *: repeat from * to *, ending last repeat with k 4.
Row 2: P 4, * k 2 sts together, yarn over (yo), k 1, p 3 *; repeat from * to * , ending last repeat with p 4,
Rows 4 and 8: Knit.
Rows 5 and 7: K1, * p3, k3 *; repeat from * to *, ending p 3, k in last St.
Row 6: P 1, k 2 sts together, yo, k 1, p 3 *; repeat from * to *, ending last repeat with p 1.
Repeat Rows 1 through 8 for pattern.
