Group Project Square # 8

  This Square uses Elmore-Pisgah, Inc.'s Double Worsted Weight Yarn. You can not buy it any more, but you can use 2 strands worsted weight yarn in its place.

Ch 29, Dc into 4th chain from hook, and in each chain across row, ch 1, turn.

Row 1: skip first st, 1 sc into each st to end, sc in top of turning chain, ch 2, turn.

Row 2: skip first st, * 1 FPtr around next 2 dc below next 2 sts, 1 hdc into next 2 st; rep from to end, ch 1, turn.

Row 3: skip first st, 1 sc into each st to end, sc in top of turning chain, ch 2, turn.

Row 4: skip first st, *1 hdc into next 2 st, 1 FPtr around next 2 hdc below next, repeat from * to last 2 sts. 1 hdc into each of last 2 sts, ch 1, turn.

Row 5: skip first st, 1 sc into each st to end, sc in top of turning chain, ch 2, turn.

Row 6: skip first st, * 1 FPtr around next 2 hdc below next 2 sts, 1 hdc into next 2 st; rep from to end, ch 1, turn.

Repeat rows 3 to 6 for pattern until square, fasten off, do an edging around square. Make four to six for afghan.
