3 way edging

3 way edging
 
Materials: America's Best Country Cotton Crochet Thread Size 10 by Elmore-Pisgah, Inc.

Size 6 Crochet Hook
1/4" Wide Ribbon
Stitches used:
Treble (yo 3x) = Tb
Front Treble Post Stitch = FTPS
Back Treble Post Stitch = BTPS
Multiples of 5 plus 4

Row 1 Make chain desired length, (5,10,15, 20, etc.) add the 4 extras chains, 1tb (yo3x), in 4th chain from hook, and in each ch across row, ch 4, turn.

Row 2 1 FTPS in first tb, 1 BTPS in next tb, repeat across row, ch 3, turn.

Row 3 3dc in same place, skip 2 posts, sc in next post, *4dc in same place, skip 3 posts, sc in next post, repeat from * across row, end skip 4 posts, sc in last stitch, fasten off, weave in thread.

Weave ribbon in and out of row 1.

Note: The picture shows 3 ways to do this edging, first one shows edging without the ribbon inserted, the second shows it with the ribbon inserted, and the third edging is the same pattern, but I used double crochets, in place of the treble.
