The Beaded Rib Stitch

I liked the looks of this stitch so much, I've put the back up also. Either side would be good for ribbing.

Multiple of 5 + 2.

Row 1: *P 2, k 1, P 1, k 1 *, repeat from * to * across row, end p 2.

Row 2:  K 2, * p 3, k 2*, repeat from * to * across row.

Repeat rows 1 and 2 for pattern until desired length.  You could use this stitch for ribbing, but you could also use it for a baby blanket, just add an edging.
