Shell: 4 dc in place indicated.
Row
1: 1 dc in 5th chain from hook (first 4 chains count as first dc and
ch 7) * ch 2, sk next 5 chains, 4 dc in next ch, ch 2, 1dc in next ch, repeat
from * across, ending last repeat with 2 ch,
4 dc ( half shell) in last ch, turn.
Row
2: ch 4, 1 dc in same st, *ch 2, work 4 dc,
ch 2, 1 dc, in ch of next shell*, repeat from * to * across, ending with
2 ch half shell in last ch sp. Turn.
Row
3: ch 4, dc in same st, * ch 2, sk next ch 2 sp, shell in ch sp of next
shell*, repeat from * to *, ending last
repeat with ch 2 and half shell in last ch 1 sp.
Repeat
row 3 for pattern until desired length.
