2019 Pattern of the Month Knit
Black and White Ski

Materials:
Red Heart Sport Weight yarn in White and Black, about 1/2 skein
each
Lion Brand Fun Fur in night sky black and white eyelash yarn
Lion Brand Moonlight Mohair in Tundra
Size 5 and size 7 circular knitting needles, 1 set double pointed needles in size
NOTE: Please read pattern first before starting
With white and size 5 needles, cast on 108 stitches, join being careful not to twist stitches.
Rds 1 to 10: K1, P1 around
Rds 11 to 15: change to size 7 needles, purl 5 rows with night sky black and white eyelash yarn. After last purl row, fasten off eyelash yarn, attach white.
Rds 16 and 17, with white knit
Now start chart rows 1 to 27
Rds 28 & 29: knit . ON ROW 29 ONLY, Decease 12 stitches evenly around.
Rd 30, 31, 32 with black and white eyelash yarn knit. Fasten off. Attach white.
Rd 33, K 1, k 2 tog around.
Rd 34 knit.
Rd 35: K 2 tog.
Run needle thru remaining stitches, draw up tight, run needle thru
again, fasten off, weave in the threads.
