March 2021 Stitch of the Month Knit

 

twisted stitch

Multiplies of 3 + 1

for sample cast on 25 ( 3 x 8 = 24 + 1 = 25)

Also slip the first stitch

  Twisted Stitch  (ts 2):  skip 1 stitch, but DO NOT remove it from the left hand needle, knit the next stitch, the new loop is on the right hand needle, now knit the first stitch that you skipped, it is now on the right hand needle and just let the two stitches on the left hand needle drop.

Row 1: * k 1, ts 2, repeat from * across row, end with k 1.

Row 2: purl.

Repeat these two rows until desired length.
