Starting chain: Multiple of 8 sts + 2, for sample chain 18.
Row 1: (wrong side): Work l sc into 2nd ch from hook, l sc into each ch to end, turn.
Row 2: 3ch (count as 1 dc), * skip 2sc, work 1tr into next sc, working behind last tr work 1 dc into each of 2 skipped Sc, 1 dc in next sc,. Repeat from * to end, turn.
3rd row: 1 ch, work 1 sc into each st to end placing last Sc into 3rd of 3ch at beg of previous row, turn. (17sc )
