Single Crochet = sc
Double Crochet = dc
Half Double Crochet = hdc
5 Loop Puff Stitch = PS
Chain, 22.
Row 1: Starting in 2nd ch from hook, work 1 Sc in each ch
across, ch 2, turn.
Row 2: * yo, insert hook in next Sc, yo, draw up a loop, yo,
insert hook in next sc, yo, draw up a loop, yo, draw
through all 5 loops, ch 1, (5 loop puff stitch made)
1 dc in next ch, repeat from * across, ch 2, turn.
( 8 dc, turning chain counts as 1 dc.)
Row 3: 1 hdc in each st and in each ch-1 space across, end 1 hdc
in top of turning-ch, ch 2, turn.
Row 4: Working in back loops, 1 hdc across row, 1 hdc in turning
Chain, ch 2, turn.
Repeat rows 2-4 4 times, after the last repeat, do not turn, ch 2.
Edging:
Row 1: 3hdc in same place, hdc evenly spaced around dishcloth, placing
3 hdc in each corner, join with slip stitch, ch 3
Row 2: 1 dc in same place, *skip 1 hdc, sc in next hdc, ch 3, 1dc in
Same place, repeat from * around, join with slip stitch, fasten
Off, weave in the ends.
