Ch: based on an even number of chains.
Rw 1: sc in end ch from hook, 1 sc in each ch across row, ch 1, turn.
Rw 2: skip first sc, *1 sc in next, sc, 1 sc in base of sc of row 1, repeat from * across row, ch 1, turn.
Repeat row 2 for pattern.
For sample: chain 16. and follow stitch pattern until square.
For pattern: ch 26. Rw 1: sc in end ch from hook, 1 sc in each ch across row, ch 1, turn.
Rw 2: skip first sc, *1 sc in next, sc, 1 sc in base of sc of row 1, repeat from * across row, ch 1, turn. Repeat row 2 for pattern 26 times, fasten off main color.
Attach trim.
Rd 1: ch 1, sc around evenly, placing 2 sc in each corner, join with sl st.
Rd 2: ch 2, 1 dc around in each sc, placing 3 dc in each corner. Join with sl st.
Rd 3: repeat round 2, fasten, weave in the threads.
