Multiples of 3 + 4 

For sample cast on 19

Row 1 (wrong side): Purl across

Row 2: K 1, *  wrn to m 1, k 3, pass the first knit stitch over the following 2 knit sts *.

Row 3: Purl across.

Row 4: * M 1, k 3, pass the first knit stitch over the following 2 knit stitches*, end knit 1

Row 5: Purl

Row 6: K 2, * m 1, k 3, pass the first knit stitch over the following 2 knit stitches*, end make one 1, k 2 together.

Row 7: Purl

Repeat from row 2 for pattern, until square.

Note:  Knitting done in this stitch has a tendency to slant and should be used in small areas.
